Kopp Incorporated was founded in December 2020 in Broomfield, Colorado. KMI Industries is its mechanical, plumbing and construction trade name.
KMI Industries is a dba of Kopp Incorporated. We install, replace and service mechanical and plumbing systems for private owners, general contractors and government agencies across Colorado and the Front Range.
Kopp Incorporated also operates KMI Insulation, a commercial mechanical insulation contractor. Working as a subcontractor under Colorado mechanical contractors, Kopp Incorporated has completed more than 80 projects since 2021, from schools and federal buildings to a clean room at the U.S. Mint in Denver. KMI Industries brings that same company, crew accountability and paperwork discipline to piping, plumbing and construction work.
Leadership. Kopp Incorporated is run by Alexandra Kopp, President, and Robert Kopp. Ownership handles the bidding, contracts, bonding and hiring directly.

Kopp Incorporated is founded in Broomfield, Colorado, and registers the trade name KMI Insulation.
- 2021
First projects for schools, universities and food production facilities along the Front Range.
- 2022 – 2025
Work grows at the U.S. Mint in Denver beyond insulation into concrete repair, office renovation, production flooring, platforms and mechanical piping, alongside federal, county and school projects.
- 2025
Denver Mint clean room, a modular hardwall clean room and gowning room delivered inside the Mint.
- September 2026
KMI Industries is registered as a Kopp Incorporated trade name for mechanical and HVAC services.
